Marcella is one of several cheerleaders at Middleton High School. She is often seen either directly next to, or counterpoint, to Liz, even when they are not in routines, indicating that Liz may be her closest friend on the squad.
Marcella has long straight black hair with a part, light brown skin, and black eyes. She also has a mole on her cheek. When not in her cheer outfit, she normally wears a burnt orange long-sleeved shirt, slightly darker pants, and brown shoes.
Personality
Much like most of her teammates on the cheer squad, Marcella is an average teenager who exhibits interest in things normally associated with teenage girls, while also being generally kind and easygoing.
Biography
Little is known about Marcella’s life outside of school.
In “Sink or Swim”, Marcella joined her teammates on the cheer squad in traveling to a supposed cheerleading competition outside of Middleton. Along the way, however, their bus’s tires blew out and they were left stranded at Camp Wannaweep. During this time, Marcella was usually seen in the company of her friend Liz. While the rest of the squad rested near a campfire they set alight close to Camp Wannaweep, both Marcella and Liz ventured off to use the camp’s porta potty, where they were assaulted and abducted by the mutant supervillain Gill, who orchestrated the bus’s blowout to get revenge on Ron. Hearing their screams, Kim rushed off to help them but found them both gone, having been carried off by Gill into the forest. Later on, after the remaining cheer squad sought refuge in Cabin 13, both Marcella and Liz were taken by Gill to the cabin and joined their teammates in being pinned to its walls by Gill’s green slime. Fortunately, however, she and the other cheerleaders were rescued before they could mutate after Ron defeated Gill. Following the ordeal, Marcella joined her teammates in thanking Ron for saving them, before being taken home by the police.

Liz
Liz seems to be Marcella’s closest friend on the cheer squad. Both during and outside of cheer practice, Marcella and Liz are often seen directly next to, or in counterpoint, to each other. This was especially exampled in “Sink or Swim”, when during the cheer squad’s stranding at Camp Wannaweep the two girls were rarely seen apart.
Ron Stoppable
Like most of the squad, Marcella initially did not approve of Ron trying out for the team. However, at the time they were under the mistaken impression he meant to become a cheerleader and not the mascot, which was well received by the fans at his debut game.[1] Her attitude changed, however, after he rescued her and the other cheerleaders from Gill. At the end of the adventure, Marcella, along with Liz and Jessica, thanked Ron for saving them.[2]

Her name was mentioned when she once went missing with Liz, turning out they had been abducted by Gill.[2]
Aside from a wordless scream[2], Marcella has not had a solo speaking role.
Due to their strong resemblance, many people have mistaken Marcella and fellow cheerleader, Hope, for sisters, or at least related in some way, but they are not. A couple of ways to tell them apart is Marcella has a slightly darker skin tone. She has a mole by her lip.
"M" for "mole" and "Marcella" makes it easy to remember which is which.
Marcella's mother and father?
A couple[3] who—although not stated or implied—appear as if they could be Marcella's parents.
The woman could easily be Marcella's mother—or at least a close relative—as she looks identical to Marcella, just slightly older and her mole in a different position. The man with her is often seen at the background, among other places, in and around Middleton High School, and is sometimes seen with a small boy who could Marcella's brother. His tracksuit may indicate he may also have a coaching position in addition to what Barkin does.
