A Naco is a combination of nachos and a taco served at Bueno Nacho. It's made by taking nacho cheese and tortilla chips, mixing it with the traditional fillings of a taco, placing it all within a tortilla shell, and then lifting up the sides to make a bag-like shape. The Naco was invented by Kim Possible's sidekick/partner, Ron Stoppable.
Due to the subsequent vast popularity of the Naco, Ron received a royalties check for 99 million dollars two years after his invention[1].
Later it was revealed that the new Mucho Grande Bueno Nacho in Go City does not serve the Naco because it did not taste well[2]
According to Mr. Barkin, the Naco contains more fat than a stick of butter. [3]
Trivia
- "A nickel for every Naco sold" equates to an average of 990,000,000 Nacos sold per year.
- Taco Bell has sold what people describe as "real-life" nacos before. One of them was the Grilled Stuft Nacho, which discontinued after its release. Their more recent versions were the Loaded Nacho Taco and the Nacho Crunch Double Stacked Taco.
- As of 2024, there is around 92 grams of fat in a stick of butter, not accounting for whether it's salted or unsalted. This means that the Naco contains more than 92 grams of fat, at least by 2024 standards.
Notes
- Unlike nacho and taco, the word Naco, once picked up and added to the Bueno Nacho menus, became a Brand Name, and thus should be capitalized at all times.
- In real life, many fast-food franchises have regional menus catering to the tastes of their local market. So while it may not have tested well in the Go City Area, its status at any other specific locations worldwide is unknown.
